Larger than life-size and significant statues of Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Ernst Thälmann, Klement Gottwald and Antonin Zapotocky are auctioned as historical protagonists for highest bidding.

Most of them were dismantled from their original locations in the early 1990s and have been stored to this day in their original state. They represent a special background both artistically and historically, and served once as a monument or memorial.
It is the "red station chairman" from the Vienna Square in Dresden – a monumental, more than 12m high figure of Vladimir Iljitsch Lenin and 2 other unknown comrades - carved out of red carvassian granite by the Russian artist Grigory Yastrebenetzki.

The granite figure of Ernst Thälmann had its place of origin Peine(Saxony), it has a height of approx. 3.50m.

A highlight of this collection is certainly the statue of Josef Stalin, about 3.70 high and made of sandstone. Its original location was the city of Zabreh in the Czech Republic. The sculptures of Klement Gottwald and Anonin Zapotocky were casted from bronze, accompanied by another bust of Ernst Thälmann, complete the ensemble and now look for a new home in the world.
The auction house "Auction-Point" from Potsdam/Germany, will start the auction on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 01:00 pm. As of 9:00 am, the auctioneer Frank Ehlert will be inviting you to the exhibition. Individual appointments can be arranged after agreement.
In addition to the opportunity to participate personally in the auction on site, interested parties can already register in the online portal of the auction house and submit bids. The auction will then also be broadcasted live over the Internet, thus bidders from all over the world can submit their bids live-online or by telephone.
